Our organization was founded by Dr. Sir Randall Parr, KTJ. Somewhat of a renaissance man, Dr. Parr has traveled much of the world and earned acclaim in multiple fields, ranging from the entertainment industry as a musical virtuoso and producer to the military ministry as an officer in the United States Naval chaplaincy. He is an internationally published writer, consultant, and a frequent guest lecturer on character education at Universities and professional conferences.

Dr. Parr is a life-long student of history’s most influential leaders, with over twenty years of experience in creating effective ethics development programs for young people. His  service to others has earned accolades from many, including all branches of our Armed Forces, the Washington Times, and members of the United States Senate and Congress.

Dr. Parr is a knight of the historic Sovereign Military Order of The Temple of Jerusalem (The Knights Templar), and currently serves as the Chaplain of the Knights Templar Priory of St. Matthew. He is also a Rotarian (Paul Harris Fellow) and developer of the EarlyAct FirstKnight character education program, sponsored by Rotary Clubs for elementary and middle schools. Established in 1997 as a subsidiary of the nonprofit Randall Parr Organization, Inc., Knights of The Guild is a national award-winning educational enterprise that helps young people evolve into ethical, morally sound, community-oriented, self-disciplined adults who will become responsible members of society.

Our unique approach to teaching kids takes character education to an entirely new level, combining academic instruction in noble ethics with campus visits by authentic knights in armor and live warhorses. Highlighting the historic heroism of both male and female knights, our programs train students to seek high standards of personal excellence, serve others above themselves, and to always know and do the right thing.
